Research

Henri Boullier is a sociologist and ethnographer of administrative work, interested in the social construction of risks, how regulatory knowledge is produced and the role played by firms in the making of regulatory science and decisions. For the past seven years, he has been working on chemical regulation in Europe and the US -with a focus on the Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976 and the REACH regulation of 2006. He is currently working on a project that looks at the management of conflicts of interests in the field of medicines.
